Brief
oMbiel founded in 2009, provides mobile applications for education and public services organisations in the United Kingdom, Denmark, and Australia. Later, in 2015, oMbiel was acquired by Ex Libris Ltd.
Hugh Griffiths the founder, and CEO of oMbiel, needed help to create website content. The aim of the project was to communicate the company ethos as well as creating awareness of the visionary new campusM™ mobile app solution.
Solution
The project required a mixed skill-set. It needed somebody who could explore the proposition, gather insight and write web content. At the same time, the design needed to bring the product to life in a way that represented the new brand. It also required proficiency in WordPress to update the website on an ongoing basis.

“Penny could quickly understand what we needed, and was able to get to grips with the technology and the proposition that we wanted to communicate. "
I created website content for all sections of their new website ensuring that the copy was accurate and reflected the company’s ethos. I also worked with a website developer to ensure that the copy would work with the design of the new website pages.
The completed site remained loyal to the new brand and delivered a clean digital experience, showcasing the product’s features, benefits, news and announcements. Furthermore, it was built on a CMS to enable easy content updates.

As well as creating the website copy, I also provided oMbiel with fresh content such as a whitepaper, datasheets, case studies and press releases. I also optimised all the content for specific SEO keywords to enhance the visibility of the website.
